FATF evaluation

In 2021, the Netherlands will be evaluated by the FATF. During the audit it will become clear where there is room for improvement. The FATF keeps an eye on whether the Netherlands also implements the improvements afterwards. In this way, the international financial system remains reliable. If a country does not comply with the agreements, it may face tighter checks on payment transactions. When auditing the Netherlands in 2021, the FATF will also examine the results that the Netherlands has achieved, such as convictions, frozen credits and successful information meetings.
